Don has been an active piano technician since 2006 , he recieved extensive training from multiple master piano technicians and piano rebuilders , as well as from Steinway & Sons factory in New York City later in his career.

Don has been working as a full-time technician for Steinway Piano Gallery in Toronto since 2015, in 2024 he left Steinway and became freelance.
